Who we are

This website is run by Filtesa LLC, trading as Filtesa Water Treatment, a water treatment company serving west Broward County, Florida. You can reach us on (954) 324-1004 or at info@filtesa.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our two forms:

• Water test request: your name, email, phone number, city, whether you're on city water or a well, and anything you write about your water.
• Contact form: your name, email, phone number if you give it, city, and your message.

When you browse the site, Google Analytics records how it's used: which pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser, your approximate location from your IP address, and whether you sent a form or tapped the phone number. It uses cookies to do this. If you send a form, it records which form and the city you picked, and never your name, email, phone number or message. The site runs no advertising trackers. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

What we use it for

To call or email you back, arrange the water test you asked for, and answer your question. We keep a record of the request so we know what was discussed if you get in touch again. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell, rent or trade your details to anyone.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of services to run the site and receive your request. Each one handles your details only so the request reaches us.

• Cloudflare hosts this website and receives form submissions. Like any web host, it also keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address and browser type.
• Resend delivers each form submission to our inbox as an email.
• Google Workspace provides our email. Form submissions are emailed to us, and so are any emails you send us.
• ntfy sends a notification to our phones when a form is submitted, so we can call back quickly. The notification carries your name, city, phone, email and the start of your message.
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used, as described above, so we can see which pages help people and which don't.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to deal with your request and any work that follows, and for our business records after that. If you'd like your details deleted, ask and we'll do it, unless we have to keep something by law, for example a record of work done for a customer.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (954) 324-1004 or email info@filtesa.com and we'll deal with it.

Children

This site is for homeowners and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If what we collect or who handles it changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
